Loved wife of the late Jim, loved Mum and mother-in-law of Cheryl and Noel McLeod, Robyn Booth, Chris* Booth, Debbie and Stu* Harwood, Greg and Melissa Booth, and Brent* Booth, loved grandmother of Kerri, Shelley, and Marissa*; Julz, Sally, Ashley, and Lindis; Jennah, and Stephan; Nicole, Tori, and Jimmy, loved great-grandmother of 17 and soon to be great-great-grandmother (*denotes deceased).
Strong to the end.
A service for Vera will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 1pm on Monday, September 15 followed by private family interment. Messages to 25 Delta Drive, Waldronville, Dunedin 9018 or below where there is a link to view the service.

Hi Sheryl, Sorry read about the passing of your Mum, yes we remember Vera and Don's Auntie Win Dryden of Brighton Road Ocean View, going to that wee "Church of England" "St Margaret's" up in Seaview Road in Brighton. You Mum reaching the age of 97 years, Auntie Win Dryden was 94 when she passed away in her home in Ocean View back in 2000. We watched the service this morning and it sure was interesting listening to all the history of your Mum and Dad Jim life, it brought back great memories of our 32 years of living in Ocean View up in 34 Bennett Road. Don sent a link of your Mum Funeral to Daphne Mercer in the UK who lived just a few doors up from your late Mum and Dad in Creamery Road. Please give me a phone call as it would be great to have a talk, we will be home in the weekend.
Love to a very special auntie I will always remember your warmth and smile and your amazing baking especially your huge pavalovas. The fond memories of family gatherings that you and uncle Jim organised memories forever With love always Wayne
