Loved daughter of the late Erana and Alexander Chalmers, much loved and loving friend of Jennifer and Karl, Katelynd, and Kieran, devoted owner of her four-legged companion, the late Rori.

I was Susan’s Charge Nurse when she worked in the Operating Theatres. She became an excellent theatre nurse and teacher. Susan was one of the kindest persons I have known, always looking out for her patients and colleagues. Her illness deprived so many of her expertise and caring nature. Rest peacefully dearest Susan. ❤️💔

Dear Sue, Sorry to hear of your passing and remembering all our fun times together during nursing training and beyond. Your talents were amazing turning a piece of red material into my ballroom dancing dress, your beautiful fine cross stitch pictures, your music both singing, guitar playing and piano playing. However, almost 35 years ago you came to see me in Labour while on a meal break on night shift in 5A (ICU) and asked if you might be released from duty as you had a friend in need.
