On November 16, 2025, unexpectedly at his home; aged 69 years. Loved husband of Grace, legendary Dad of Janna, Corrina, and Nico, loved Grandad B.C of Lachlan, and Archie; and Nadia. Loved brother of Buster, Buddy, and Helen.

My sincere condolences to Grace , Janna, Corrina & Nicco. I had the privilege of meeting Bawden , when he rolled into our small town of Ettrick. ( on a motorcycle of course)! He worked on the orchards, met and married a local girl ( Sharon Booth), had two children( Janna & Corrina). They were neighbours to us as a farming family ( The Kelly's) ! When I arrived home from high school, and around the time I was 17 ( 1983?) , Bawden offered me a job, working for him topping trees ! We were working in the Lee Stream area above Outram topping & trimming tree belts ! I got to work the skidder cleaning up the debris, putting into piles, , and burning them ! I had the absolute time of my young life working for Bawden, the laughs we had, and the well earned beers at the end of the day ! I remember the packed lunch we had as we were having a break up at Traquair Station, sitting in the Ford Sierra wagon, munching on a filled roll. The new wind turbines had just been installed, and I said to Bawden , " where does all the power go ?" Bawden says , "down the bottom of each tower, there's a three pin plug , that you can plug the jug and toaster into !! 😂..., Well ..., bits of salad flew all over the dashboard !! We laughed so hard, we were choking !! 😂😂😂. I also asked his advice on selling my home, after my marriage breakup, and it was sound and fair ! Bawden Curson , I will always remember you , your cheeky quips and laugh. Your name comes up in my conversations at times, so this makes you a legend in my eyes ! Rest easy Bawden From Paul Kelly
To Janna & Corrina & families, my condolences. Bawden will be so missed by you, yet you will have terrific memories. He was full of life and fun. I remember lots of laughing times. It was great to watch the slide show and see his smiling, laughing face With sympathy, Barbara Hore.
