Shona, I am deepl y saddened to hear of your loss. I am in the UK now but I heard the news . You really were a delight to work with. I found support work quite hard but I looked forward to coming to work when I knew you were on shift. You really were hilarious Shona I will miss you always and you will be forever in my heart. Dear Shona, finally you are free from Nora, I have such lovely memories of working with you both at Arahina and the mission and our visits to Hampden, you are the most funniest kind caring hilarious person I have had the good fortune to know. Shona, you will never know how much joy you brought to us and the whole of your world. We still fall about laughing at your stories, antics and pranks over the years. We still tell Face Stories since you taught them to Donovan and Marnie. We will always love and miss you dearly xxx

Shona, our family would like to thank so much for the love, care and understanding of Caleb you gave him when you worked with him. Your cooking shows together taught him so much about being able to cook for himself and to be more independent in his daily life. He has missed you and talks about you often. Dearest Shona, Well my friend, I hope that wherever you are now you have the BEST glass of red in hand, and a decent wedge of blue cheese on that platter. No more Nora or need for the big girls knickers aye. Nora may have been an unwelcome visitor and yet you met her head on with strength, humour and a good dose of realism - as only you could. My friend, the world is a better place for having you in it. Your kindness, generosity, empathy, and care for people, made a huge difference in the lives of many. This went well beyond your work. That goodness that you sprinkled everywhere was just intrinsic to who you were, and how you lived your life. You were loved and will be missed. Bob, Helen, and family. Shona You and the team at "Helping Hands" took me on as your Handyman to help out with your often elderly clients. You sometimes accompanied me, to meet your client, to assess how my skills could be utilised to fix/repair/make what they needed. I always observed with great interest, your interaction with the person. You entered their homes with respect, kindness, love and always a cheerful humour which put everyone at ease. You taught me many good people skills which have stuck and I practice to this day. Shona I'm grateful I met you and spent time with you - we are all richer for your presence in our lives. We were lucky enough to have meet Shona through Helen and Paul, Shona was always a delightful caring person and her personality was unique, we had many a laugh. It was lovely to hear she had meet Bob and got married. Our condolences to all her family as I know she will be missed so much.

Dearest Shona, You've been a big part of our family life and the dearest friend to my Mum. I have appreciated how much of a generous, kind, humorous and caring soul you are and hope that it has rubbed off on us, even just a little. Thankyou for sharing in my special day and cuddles with my babies. You are forever close to my heart when I wear the clothes you have passed on to me over the years.
