On October 16, 2024, unexpectedly at home in Waldronville; aged 81 years.
Dearly loved husband of Lynne, and the late Coral, loved Dad of Shayne*, Calvin and Liz, Theresa and Dave*, Kerrie and Kristine, Chris and Lisa, Tracey and Neil, remembered fondly by Lynne's family, Bronwyn and Darryn, Bryan and La Verne, David and Helen, and much loved Granddad of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. A farewell for Rob will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road at 11.00am on Wednesday, October 23, followed by private cremation. Messages may be left below where you can Livestream the farewell or view the recording.

Tribute to Rob Hooper My brothers and I will forever be grateful that our mother, Lynne met you 11.5 years ago. It was wonderful to watch the relationship between you both, morph into the strong union it was, before your sudden passing last week. Our mum got the opportunity to be happy (for the second time), and more importantly, to be loved and cared for the way she deserves. We watched this woman, who has had a lot of hard decisions to make in the past, ease into a life of romance, peace and togetherness with you. One of our Mum's pastimes involves a little online shopping addiction. Quite regularly a courier van would pull up at the gate. In which Rob would say, 'Is that another Temu parcel? with more bloody dots??' in reference to Mum's addiction to Diamond Art. Rob, you fitted perfectly into our little family and we will all miss you so very much. Rest in peace xx Love always Bronwyn, Bryan and David and families.
