RUSSELL, Robert John (Bob) - Most adored husband and best friend of Bridgette. Loved to bits by all his family and friends. Loved son of the late Eric and Phylis. Loved son-in-law of the late Syd and Lil Adie, loved brother-in-law and mate of Dwight and Jo, Toni and Alister, Bryce and Belinda, Kelly, Shaun and the late Toni, Cursey and Carwyn, and a loved uncle and great-uncle. Life won't be the same without you. Special thanks to the staff at Yvette Williams for their care of Bob. A Celebration of Bob's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 11am on Tuesday October 28, followed by private cremation. Messages and livestream can be found below.

Hi Jimmy so sorry to hear that Bob passed away on Monday.I hadn't seen Bob for a number of years but always got news of you guys via Marty P.Many happy memories come to mind when I think of Bob. Whether it be chewing the fat and knocking back jugs of beer in the kitchen of the old Grant's Braes Club Rooms after practice, Friday nights spent at Sheil Hill pub before our Saturday matches, minivan trips heading south to play South Otago or Southland teams (Bob of course driving). Our social life revolved around that great Club with Bob playing a very big part in it. He will miss be surely missed.Hugs and Love coming your way.
