MYLES, Rae
On October 30, 2024 unexpectedly but peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; aged 77 years.
Dearly loved son of the late Mary and Bob, loved brother and brother-in-law of Robin and Nola, Diane and the late Rod Hutchinson, Barbara and Alan Bridgman and the late Carol. Loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the carers at Ross Home and the staff of the ICU at Dunedin Hospital for their care and support of Rae and his family.
A Memorial Service for Rae will be held in Ross Home Chapel, 360 North Road, North East Valley at 2pm on Tuesday, November 5.

I've just watched the lovely memorial service for Rae - a wonderful tribute to a very kind man. It was a real shock to learn of his passing as he seemed to be in fine form at the Walkinshaw reunion in January. Condolences to all the Myles family.
I was saddened to have read of the passing of Rae. I worked with Rae for 19 years at Methven Tapmakers. We had a great relationship as workmates. I found Rae to be considerate and helpful. We lost contact for awhile after i left. But hen out of the blue Rae came up home for chat and catchup. We then caught up just after the house in Norwood Street had been sold. He was happy no more maintenace he told us, holding a pair of shears. He also picked up from the bus hub and took me home, another chat about the old days.
