On September 1, 2026, peacefully at Ross Home and Hospital with family by his side; aged 81 years.
Dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Paul and Ryn, Chris and Mel, Dan and Faith, much loved Pops of Kellie, Emily, Ben, and Ava, best friend of Jo, a loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. A huge thank you to all the staff of Dunrowan Unit at Ross Home for their amazing dedication to the care of Peter.
Requiem Mass for Peter will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 89 North Road, North East Valley, Dunedin, at 10am on Monday, September 7, the funeral then leaving for Dunedin Cemetery. Messages to 190 Larnach Road, Waverley, Dunedin 9013 or to Peter's page below.

To Jo and family Peter was a wonderful brother in law. He stood by my family in our tragedy and was a fearless fighter for justice. Sorry I am unable to be with your family at this sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. From our numerous discussions about the Rosary I know that if St Peter is hesitant at the gate, Our Blessed Mother will open a window for you, Peter.
