Peacefully with family by his side at Oxford Court Rest Home on November 12, 2024; in his 88th year. Dearly loving father of Patrick, Mary, Damian, Cathy, and Emmett, cherished grandfather of Mairead, and Brigid; Conor, Rory, and Olivia; Sam and Kate; Ronan, great-grandfather of Quinn, and Jordy, Ava, Mason, and Grayson. Special thanks to the staff of Oxford Court for the support and care of Paddy.
A service to celebrate Paddy's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 2.00pm, on Friday November 15, followed by private cremation. Messages to 5 Challis Street, Vauxhall, Dunedin 9013, or on Paddy's page below, where you can also access the Livestream.

I do apologise for not getting in touch sooner. On behalf of all the O'Neill family back in Belfast I would like to offer our deepest condolences. My wife and I were visiting Australia in October 2024.We spent some time with Brian Sue and family in Sydney then with Martin Pat and family in Perth. We had only returned home s few weeks when we heard the sad news of Uncle Pats passing. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Ross Kate and family.
On behalf of Peter, Brian Rutherford and their families and all the Wilson family in Sydney our sincere condolences to all of Paddy's family and friends. I will forever remember the UK and Ireland trip I shared with Paddy and Ennis (Mum) and their many visits to us all in Nelson and Sydney. Paddy and Ennis had a wonderful life together and many memories for us all to remember. May he now rest in peace with Ennis for eternity.
All my love and condolences to my cousins and all of Uncle Pat’s family. I remember Uncle Pat’s visits to Australia and have very fond memories of the stories he’d tell us and his funny, friendly nature. Uncle Pat - you will be missed xx
