On February 8, 2026, at Dunedin Hospital; aged 85 years.
Loved wife of Brian, loved Mum and mother-in-law of Carol and Alan, John and Kathy, David and Catherine, Pamela* and Neil, loved Nana of Toni, and Jaime; Ashleigh, and Antony; Amy, and Nick; and Jordan. Loved great-nana and great-great-nana of all her grandchildren. Loved daughter of Henry* (Harry) and Irene* Pettitt, loved sister and sister-in-law of Neil* and Margeret, Ross* and Averil, and a resident at Sacred Heart Home in the care of Little Sisters of the Poor for 8 years. (*Denotes deceased)
- A service to celebrate Nola's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 11:00am, on Monday, February 16, the funeral then leaving for Dunedin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to Little Sisters of the Poor would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages can be left on Nola's page at below, where there is a link to livestream the service.

I have fond memories of our Halfway Bush days growing up living next door to the Morgan's. There would many social events between the families. I remember the Morgan's were the first to get a colour television and us children sat outside and watched through the window while our parents were inside. My thoughts are with the family at this sad time.
I remember Nola with fondness when she worked in the Staff Shop at Cadbury’s in her Green Smock which would have been back in the 1980’s or 1990’s - seems a lifetime ago now. Used to have a lovely chat about family etc as we were both about the same age. My thoughts are with her family at this sad time. Kindest regards Runa Chesney
