Philippa, I was very sad to hear on Saturday afternoon that your partner Miles had suddenly died. If I had known earlier, I would have been at the Funeral. I did not meet Miles, but you and I go back a long way. I pass on my condolences to you and your family and the boys in Australia. Ron Mackintosh

How treasured are we to know such a bright, strong and caring person. Will be missed near and afar, forever in our actions and our hearts. Love to all the whanau.

Hard to believe we have lost a very special man who has become a big part of our lives over the last 20 odd years ......from landscaping our section in Norwood Street while working for Nichols to to returning yearly to keep it in order latterly as I've gotten a bit older. Besides, he was always great to have around for catch ups while working. Will miss him and his expertise hugely and guess I will be thinking of him whenever out in the back yard muttering to myself and asking him about what to do about a problem! R.I.P. Miles You were a Star!

A shock to learn of Miles passing. He was a most respected and successful Hill City Athletic Club athlete. We all enjoyed visits to Dunback running with “Kilometres” around the farm. Condolences to Miles’s family.

Deepest condolences to the Henderson family. Saddened to hear of Miles’s passing. I was his best man and he was mine at our respective weddings. So many lovely memories running with Miles (and Chip) around the stunning countryside of East Otago, of car trips to races and places… not to mention the occasional shenanigans. Miss our times together and his friendship. A genuine and gentle soul. Go well Miles.

It was a shock to learn of Miles' passing. Gone too soon. Deepest sympathy to all family. I treasure many fond memories of runs around the Dunback and Palmerston area with Miles and the late Chip Dunckley, who with the change to metric measurements would often refer to Miles as Kilometers. They were great times, just difficult to run and laugh. Rest in peace Miles.

It is with shock and sadness that I heard of Miles sudden passing. His love for and regard for his amazing sons Kent and Eliot and their partners Hannah and Emily and children Harvey, Noah, Stella, Savannah, and Finn was endless. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace and as your Dad, Bill would have said God speed you to your eternal rest and the light.

Deepest sympathy to all Henderson family . I remember the family so well at dunback . They were our only neighbours on mclew road . Your parents were awesome people and very good to my parents.
