HARRIS, Michael Phillip (Mike) - On October 10, 2025, peacefully at home: aged 73 years.
Dearly loved husband and soul-mate of Gladys Hope, adored father of Paula Mason, and Chris Harris, cherished Grandad of Hannah, and Holly; and Thomas, and treasured 'Poppy' of Luca. Fondly remembered by Julie and Neil, and Craig, for the strength and kindness Mike showed to their Mum Gladys over the years. Loved Grandad of Victoria, and Marcus.
- A Celebration of Mike's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 2.00pm on Friday October 17, followed by private cremation. Messages to 2E Clayton Street, St Clair, Dunedin 9012 or below where you will also find a livestream link.

Dear Gladys, Paula,Chris and whanau. So sorry to hear of Uncle Mikes passing. I have many happy memories of him over the years, always so happy, kind and funny, and of course his love for music! I used love going up to Palmerston in Paula’s little car for the weekend! It was a beautiful service! Im sure Grandma and Grandad will take good care of him! Xoxoxxo
We were deeply saddened to hear of Mike's passing. Although we met him but a few times at our Clayton street parties, we both found him to be such a warm, funny, and genuinely charming person.
