- Peacefully in Dunedin surrounded, by family, on January 19, 2026; aged 102 years. Reunited with best friend and soulmate Bill*, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Ross*, Grant and Cindy, Lyndon, Sue and John, dearly loved Gran of Cory, Kylie, Kirsten, Nick, and Matt, loved great-gran of her nine great grandchildren (*denotes deceased). A special thanks to the team at Brooklands Retirement Village for their loving care of Mary.
- A celebration of Mary's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 2pm, on Friday January 23, followed by private cremation. Messages to 120B Gladstone Road North, Mosgiel 9024.

My sincere condolences to the family of Mrs Williamson. It is a sad time for you all, however she lived a wonderful life, reaching the outstanding age of 102. She will be remembered as "Sue's mum" who wanted and received respect from all of all of us. She saw us as young teenagers 50 odd years ago, grow up into adults, marry and have our own families and she never forgot who we were. A very special lady. RIP Mrs Williamson.
