What a moving tribute to lovely Lesley! How I wish I could have been there to share the ceremony with you all. Lesley touched lives around the world and left them warmer! Watching the recorded livestream this Christmas has triggered so many wonderful fond memories of shared times in Dunedin, Arrowtown, and on the Kepler Track! Sending my love to you Euan, Emma, Richard, Jayne and all your family members facing such a saddening loss.

To Euan and all your family It was moving and very wonderful to be 'with you' for the celebration of Lesley's life on Friday, although on the other side of the world. What tremendous tributes from three generations, to Lesley's love and her whole life. I am so glad and grateful I could spend some time with Lesley and you all a year ago. The memories will be treasured. With love Nicholas

Dear Euan and your lovely family. Thankyou so much for sharing this very special and initimate service for dear Lesley with those of who were unable to make it to Dunedin....myself included. I was there in spirit and virtually as the beautiful farewell to Les took place....it was just lovely to see some of the old physio friends there also and to meet her beloved grandchildren who paid her such honour. I do hope that young Eliot never forgets the homage he made to his Granny. It is wretched that this illness took Les's life and so very sad and I send love to you and your children/young adults over these next weeks and months especially. She has left so much love, heart and obviously a lifetime together of wonderful memories to last another lifetime! Go well with love Prue x

Dear Euan and family, It was with incredible sadness I joined you all yesterday in saying farewell to Lesley. I felt so remote yet so close to you all. The service was an incredible tribute to her life which was so unfairly shortened and yet so full of love, adventure, family and friendship. We will all miss her terribly. My sincerest condolences to you all . With love, Kay Stormont

Deepest sympathy Euan Letting you know that Lesley will be greatly missed at the bridge club. I was one of many that enjoyed her company. My brother Graham Wong spoke fondly of the friendship he has with you and Lesley. That qualified me as a instant friend to Lesley and for years we always chatted about your kids and particularly those wonderful grandchildren you share. A beautiful lady inside and out and also a talented bridge player. She will be greatly missed. Condolences to all your family. Glenys Shum

Dear Euan, Emma, Richard,Jayne & families. My thoughts and prayers have been with you all since I heard the sad news of Lesley's illness at our 50 year Reunion recently. I was so looking forward to catching up with her as we renewed contact when Lesley came to Tauranga to visit her Mum just before our last Reunion. I can see how family (& especially grandchildren) were so special to her and, having watched the funeral service online, I'm sure she would have been most proud of you all. Loved that you chose the hymn "How great Thou art" Pray that you will be comforted by God's love and your happy memories of our very special Lesley. God Bless. Love Frances

Dear Euan & family, Modern technology has allowed me to be with you all, despite being on the other side of the world. Lesley had a gift for friendship and I was lucky enough to call her a friend. Coming to see her in Dunedin was alway a priority on my trips back to NZ. She was always so welcoming, even in the week before you left Fairfax Street, when in her inimitable way, Lesley insisted ‘your bed is here’. We had children of similar ages and there are memories of Playcentre, cups of tea & for a very short while living on the same street, before we moved back to the UK. Thinking of you all in your grieving. With Love Anne

Dear Euan and whanau. I am so sorry for your loss. I have many memories of Lesley from working with her at the physio school. She was a fantastic physio, and an even more fantastic person. I often took Pilates with her and she was the strongest out of everyone, it was a struggle to hold the core exercises as long as she could. We thoroughly enjoyed her baking (even though she cut it in very small slices to help us keep our weight in check). Lesley was just so kind, she will be missed xo

Dear Euan and family It was of great sadness that I learnt of Leslie's illness andvthat she has now lost her battle. Leslie's was a fabulous classmate and then physio colleague after graduation. I will always remember her empathy, smile and enjoyment of life. Unfortunately I am unable to be in Dunedin tomorrow, however will watch her service on live stream. My sympathy and thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time. Lindsay Stephenson
