Dear Kaye, Whenever I thought of you it was brings happy memories, you were always very kind, happy and optimistic. You helped me settled into Studholme Hall and helped me when I was feeling unwell. I was very sad to read of Kaye’s passing. Many years ago, as neighbours in Victoria Rd, my 3 sons (Kyle, Troy & Ben) spent many happy hours playing with the Gray boys at your place, and ours, and Kaye was always terribly kind and accommodating. Dearest Kaye, Along with your caring, kind, generous, bubbly personality, here are a few of the things I remember and loved about you...your adorable little sneezes, your extraordinary talent for gift wrapping without using sellotape, your love of plants/gardening to the extent that you even used your boys old boots as "pots" at the backdoor, the joy you got from watching the Monarch butterflies emerge and fly from your swan plants, showing your love through food (a second helping was always a must), family Easter Egg painting sessions, your love of "secret santa" gifting and your never-ending love for your family. I was sad to hear of Kaye's passing. I was an international student who lived at Studholme Hall for quite a few years. Kaye was always so kind to me, and also to my parents when they came to visit me. Kaye was such a kind and generous person who touched many young people's lives. She will be missed.

I feel very privileged to know Kaye’s son Jason and daughter in law Priya. A special women raised this wonderful man and for that we are thankful. I know the family will feel her loss deeply and hope together their love will help preserve the traditions and closness Kaye created. Sending all our love to you all. The Kings

Dearest Kaye, Truly one of a kind, big-hearted, full of warmth, and always made the Chenery's feel like part of the family from the very beginning. We always remember your insistence on feeding us and with a cup of tea in hand, ready for a proper chat, You genuinely showed interest in everyone’s stories, and somehow remembered every little detail no matter the distance between visits. Such a beautiful soul, and your kindness and light will stay with us always in our Dunedin memories. We feel so lucky to have known you, you will be missed.
