On December 21, 2025, at her home, in Dunedin; aged 84 years.
Dearly loved wife of the late Barry, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Lance and Jacqui (Christchurch), Mike and Jo (Christchurch), Glen and Sam (U.K.), loved grandmother of Monica, Aimee, and Zach; Anna, and Josh; Ethan, and Jorja, and a loved sister of Marie.
A service for Juliet will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 11am on Friday January 9, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service, or below. Messages to the Kenworthy family may be posted to 62 Easther Crescent, Kew, Dunedin 9012, or left below, where you can also access livestream.

I was unable to attend the service for Juliet, but have just watched it online and what a beautiful, heartfelt service it was. Juliet came into my life when my father moved into Dalkeith at Ross Home. From the moment I met Juliet, I knew my father was in the right place and would be well cared for. She radiated warmth, care, fun and felt like a friend from the first meeting. Then we met up again at Chisholm and I was so happy to spend time with her playing golf and enjoyed her interesting and witty conversation. I feel very privileged to have known Juliet, she was one of life's gems and I will always remember her stunningly beautiful blue eyes. Best wishes to Juliet's family on their journey of grief x
Please accept my condolences and best wishes. Juliet was a great friend from our nursing class together. You boys were a pleasure to her and we had many enjoyable times with Barry. Later times we enjoyed lunch get togethers in Dunedin. Kind regards Jillian

Juliet wasn't in my life for very long. She gave me my first job and taught me so much in the five years she was my boss. Her attention to detail, clinical knowledge and exceptionally high standards made such an impression on me, inspired me and stayed with me. She taught me to care for someone with dignity, celebrate and acknowledge individuality and how to properly make a bed. I have carried her lessons with me into my own nursing career. Her service was lovely, and I hope you all know that her legacy in nursing lives on in the practice of those who were influenced by her.
Beautiful service and tribute for Juliet. We haven’t had a lot of contact in the past few years but always loved the catch ups in Wanaka with Bette when both Juliet and Marie came to stay with her. Bette loved having them to stay. Rest In Peace X Ken and Jude

I have very good memories of Juliet at Ross Home as being very well liked by the staff and residents; and she was very kind and encouraging to me. And in the last couple of years I was glad to have a chat with her while she was serving refreshments after a funeral I attended. Kind regards to Juliet's family at the loss of someone so special to them, with a vibrant personality and generous with her time to encourage others and make them feel important.
My friend Juliet ❤️I will miss our coffee and lunch catch ups, sharing stories of our familes, but most of all I will miss your smiling face and twinkly blue eyes when we meet up at university . I have always admired your energy and the sensible approach to you to any problems . I learnt a lot from you . I also enjoyed meeting Yvette, she is a very special friend indeed. Very sad to hear that another of my cousins has passed away. As a young girl I remember how much fun Juliet was and always seemed to be laughing. My condolences to all of the family. Will be watching her service tomorrow from Brisbane. Love Sue ❤️❤️
Have only known Juliette since joining the Mahjong group each Monday. She was a constant, cheerful and full of fun. I admired her strength in adversity. She shared her journey with us and will be sorely missed. Be at peace Juliette.
