It is with great sadness that Jules passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 4, 2026. Totally adored, much loved and devoted husband of Pamela. Cherished and much loved father of Vincent, and Genevieve. Beloved eldest child of the late Milan and Lavinia. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Christina and Whatarangi Murphy-Peehi (Ohakune), Nicholas and An (Perth), and Paul (Ireland), beloved brother-in-law of Lyndon and Christine Walker (Dunedin). Dearly loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
Our heartfelt thanks to all the medical team in ICU at Dunedin Hospital for their most wonderful care of Jules. A very special thanks to Richard Benson, Martin Dvoracek and Rosanne Clark.

- A service to celebrate Jules' life will be held in First Church of Otago, 415 Moray Place, at 2:00pm on Friday, 9 January, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service. Their initial care of Jules was invaluable. I am truly at a loss for words over the sad passing of Jules. My condolences to the family and the beautiful Pam. Dunedin is truly in mourning as Jules was an enigmatic entity and when Pam was there beside him the team was complete. Dunedin is a great place and will always be but Jules will be missed as he had so much love and joy for people, sport and politics. Never forgotten!!!

To Dear Pam Genevieve and Vincent We are still in shock at the terrible news of Jules passing. It’s unbelievable that we’ll never see him again in beautiful Dunedin and know that he was so loved by everyone. Such a gorgeous smile and beautiful mind he was brilliant ! Please Pam and all of the Radich family accept our condolences on the untimely passing of Jules .I first met Jules in 1983 at Clive Huttons motorcycle shop opposite the Dunedin railway station. He was larger than life and was riding a stunning BSA Rocket 3 it was one motorcycle that I had never seen before. I have far to many good memories of Jules that revolved arround motorcycles fishing and under water hockey. The latter being the first time Jules egged me on to try a game and unfortunately I only lasted a minute as I was finned across the face .That was my only time as I never tried it again but I loved to watch poolside.R I P Jules it was a absolute pleasure to have known you .Till we meet again.
