Hello, at the minimum I can speak for myself in acknowledging your messages posted as a youngest son. Brooke and Melissa, along with your good colleagues, my personal gratitude for all you offered Jean in her time at Oxford. Also the personal supports, certainly helped me through much. Julie our mothers shared experiences over much of their lives, perhaps you have seen the likely Rangers photo within the photo tributes. Thanks for your kind words for Jean also in regard to Ross at the time of his passing October 2021, they were very comforting for Mum, and your father Jack was a person who I saw Ross could be his real self in his company. Linda and Family, and Dave, Jo and family, thanks. Vanessa your family might well be able to convey my message to you all in Australia, I'll treasure the last photo you took. Gill, and also in regards to the words spoken on the 28th, thanks. I'm in no delusion that without Weaving and the friendships particularly the late Enid, not to diminish the known appreciation expressed to the two current members who were supportive of Jean in recent times, that my mother would have had a fundamentally different existence the last 40 years of her life, there's always a smile comes to mind when I think of her in the passion playground of her weaving. Apologies if I have missed an acknowledgement, message box has taken over my vision.

I was so sorry to hear of Auntie Jean passing away. She was such an important part of our lives growing up and I always looked forward to going out visit on the farm around Christmas. It was lovely to visit her a couple of weeks ago. Love from Vanesa, Mark, Tim and Nick

Jean was a founding member of the Taieri Creative Fibre Weaving Group. Over the years Jean has been generous in her time and support by sharing her knowledge, expertise and love of the weaving craft. Jean, time to put the loom away. Thank you for your valued contribution to the group. Our condolences to Jean’s family. Dear Ian, Collin and families It is with sadness I read Mum's life has ended, may her spirit fly free over the waves along Taieri Mouth Road near the Kuri Bush farm. I have fond memories of the Cadzow clan coming for a visit back in the 1970's. Jean was a good friend and support of my Mum, Lexie, all through her life too. She encouraged my Mum into the Taieri Spinners and Weavers club. This certainly fulfilled her love of spinning and knitting and created new friendships. Please give Jean a lovely send off.
