My dear sweet sweet grandad, there’s so much I can say, so many stories I can share. You were truly the most incredible grandad, I looked up to you and will forever look up to you. You inspired us all, I simply cannot put into words how truly truly amazing you were. I’m going to miss seeing your big cheesy smile, all the wee jokes and especially your big hugs. I always go back to the times us grandkids would huddle up at yours and I’m sure drive you and granny crazy but yet you never complained, you just loved being with us, making the most amazing memories with us and just having a blast. I will miss you deeply Grandad, it just won’t be the same without you. I love you so much, I hope you’re filling Granny in on all the years missed and I know your new role is watching over us all. Love you Grandad 🤍

Your smile made me smile
Your hugs made me feel loved
Your impact on my life is more than I think you knew. You would tell me off when I needed it but I always knew it came from a place of love. You were always so positive and grateful for the life that you had and I couldn't have asked for a better role model. I love you and your memory will live on in the stories I tell to my children and even to my friends. Everybody who knows me, knows of you. Be at peace now grandad.

Gone but in no way forgotten, I can still hear your voice and your laugh. I can't not think back to my childhood and the visits to your house with the other cousins, asking us to get the fizzy out of the pantry and playing with lego on the floor while the grown ups caught up. It would be hard to forget you

It’s a sad day today, you were the most influential man that’s ever been in my life, you were always there for me, through the good times and all my naughty times. You never stopped believing in me. I’ll always have your famous words, “you only have one life so be happy”.
I will always be proud to call you my grandad. You will be missed so much, and leave a huge hole in our family.
I love you grandad.
Salute.
