Our thoughts are with Tic's family and friends as you farewell one of lifes characters. I spent many afternoons helping get his sheep in at Manapouri and shearing them or doing a few for mutton, we also use to have a few ''Sherbets'' afterwards, or even during, while I was being entertained by Tic. Myself ,Sharon, Kerri became very fond of he's humour and hospitality, and just enjoyed being able to help a great bloke. I have spread the word Sherbet far and wide, and explained many times to what it is referring too. So long my friend, I surely will miss our talks, and the time we spent together RIP Ticky Boy JT, Sharon, Kerri Templeton

My deepest sympathies to all who knew and loved Tick. A real character has left our lives but only temporarily, for he waits for us to pick up where we left off when we leave here. Memories from the days as a small child at home with Mick & Thelma in Otautau to the crib in Manapouri. To shooting deer from the deck of my father's truck at Soft Sides in Manapouri in pajamas, or from the roof of the crib into the Butcher's shop on the other side of the Waiau, or from lone tree at the hut on Mount Brown, or fishing with the mouse in the dark off your boat on the river & lake. Times & memories I shared with you. The long conversations with you, a man who knew my father well and longer than I did. You will always be fondly remembered of me. Glad I caught up with you when I was last home. Enjoy meeting Mick, Thelma, Dave and Merv again and say gidday from me. Hugh in Sweden
