WILKIE, Heather Patricia - Retired teacher.
On August 12, 2025, passed away peacefully at her home; aged 77 years. Dearly loved daughter of the late George and Eileen, cherished sister and sister-in-law of Colin and Violet, beloved aunty of Lenore, and Aaron, treasured cousin of Martin, and a dear friend and neighbour of Mavis.

Dearest Heather your friends at Driving Miss Daisy sure miss you 😢 especially on Thursday’s when we’d come over and deliver your shopping. You were strong, courageous and fiercely independent. You fought a hard battle till the end and tho you’re missed so much you’re no longer in pain . I miss not seeing you …. I’ll keep an eye out for the best avocados for you still …. Rest easy x
To the Wilkie family I played tennis and badminton with Heather back in the late 1980's and 1990s and sometimes we were on opposing sides of the net. We always had a laugh and I remember her friendliness and great sportsmanship with much fondness. Barb
