My deepest sympathy to my dear cousins at this sad time. I am so glad I was able to join you on the live stream. You all spoke so well of your mum and your memories such a hard thing to do. I have found memories of Auntie Heather and her cheeky smile. Love to you all Gillian xx🌸🩷🌸

Remembering my lovely sister Heather May. Her bright smile welcoming you always whe never you visited . Always reaching out to help others. Persevering through difficulties , but never complaining . Always asking "How's the family?" and still sending birthday cards when the kids were well grown up. I fondly remember holidays with the three boys at Stirling , and we loved the visits with the children to the farm. In later years she would fly north and we would have picnics at the likes of Lake Karapiro or go to Rotorua - we went to the lion park ! I treasure having had a close bond of love and care with my precious older sister. Her last visit was to stay in Matamata with me and we had a lovely time . Beautiful memories to treasure . Heather May was special and dearly loved .

Well what can I say. Mum it has been a privilege to have you as a huge part of my life. Mum, loving and acknowledging you. I feel so blessed that you gave me the gift of life, you taught me to be giving and grateful for all that we have, you also taught me how to be strong and live life to the fullest. As you always said to me "As long as your happy, that's all that matters" There is so much that has happened in my life that I know I would not have been able to get through had it not been for the strength and that warrior woman in you and you taught me to embrace within myself. There is not a day goes by that I dont think about you. Its never easy to say goodbye, but here we are closing this chapter in your earthly existence. Heaven has gained another angel and the night sky has gained another star. You may not be here in person, but you will always exist within my thoughts and my heart. Go be with Dad, he's been waiting for you. Rest easy and in peace. Love you endlessly. xx

Nana I will cherish the many memories I have of you. Playing Chinese checkers with you when I was younger. Hearing the big clock chime in the front lounge at Fraser Street, and the lolly jar that always had wee goodies in it. And having to go find Goldie because he had gone on one of his adventures. My yearly cherry tomatoes the yummy glass house taste, you always made sure I got some. Many of a time that you took me back home from the boat shed at back beach because well I had enough of the boys or we would go get your weekly veggies from Kaans fruit shop in Port Chalmers. Many memories I will cherish for ever nana. You will always have a special place in my heart. You leave us all with many memories. Now is your time nana go be with grandad. Be free, rest easy Love you always . Your grand daughter Christina
