GOULD, Heather Colleen (nee King)
Passed away on March 20, 2026, at Dunedin Hospital; aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late George Gould, loved mother and mother-in-law of Hughan and Adrienne, Trevor*, and Sandra*, much loved Nana of Kristen and Jessi, and Steven*, a loved great-Nana of Ryder, and Alex, loved sister and sister-in-law to her extended family. (*denotes deceased)
A service for Heather will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 2.00pm, on Saturday, March 28, followed by private cremation. No flowers by request. Messages to 9 Herron Street, Brockville, Dunedin 9011.

Hi all my name is Paul heads I had the pleasure of meeting Heather at Brockville bowls club in 2005. I was 15 and didn't really know to much about bowls until I came along for a have a go night. I found Heather to be a Lovely woman with a heart of gold,Full of warmth, wisdom and praise even if you done a bad shot on the mat. She was like another grandma in my teenage years and I'm pretty sure I was in a winning team of club triples with her back in the day our names still etched on the hall wall. Thank you heather for all the tips and tricks over the years, You will be missed. Regards Paul

What a sad loss. My deepest condolances to the family. I played bowls with Heather for many years , wheather it be against her or with her. Always a joy to play with.
I was deeply sadden when Hughan told me that his mother Heather had passed away. I met Heather and her late husband George when I joined the Brockville Indoor Bowling Club several years ago. As a new player I was aways encourged by their advice. They said to do your best and while you may not win there was always sometime to learn. Please accept my heartfelt and deepest sympathy at this very sad time for you all.

I delivered meals on wheels to Heather every Friday & regularly on Wednesdays too. She was a delight to greet each time. She called me “Cathy” - and that was perfectly ok with me. I thought, last Wednesday, she wasn’t quite her usual self, it she still had a smile & was always grateful of the volunteer service of meals delivery. I will miss her and extend my deepest sympathy to her family - who she talked of often. RIP Heather
