On November 18, 2025, at Yvette Williams Retirement Village, with family by her side; aged 93 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jack for nearly 67 years, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Sandra and Martin Paterson, Steve, and Chris, loved Gran of Sam, Nick, and Charlotte; Jessie, and Jack, loved great-grandma of Remy, loved daughter of the late Grace and Allan, sister of the late Elaine and loved Aunty of Julie, Lawrence and families.
We would like to thank all the staff who have cared for Mum over the last few years.

Dear Sandra and family. I accidentally learned of your mother's passing today. What a wonderful mum she was. I loved staying for sleep overs when in primary school at your house because of her warmth and humour. She was one in a million. I am so sorry for your loss xxx

So sorry to learn of Doreen's passing. My mother, Frances Cruickshank, lived next door to Jack and Doreen for many years - it was such a friendly neighbourhood where everyone looked out for each other. We loved Doreen's friendliness and her sense of humour. Sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to her family.

I worked in the ANZ District Office with your Mum. She was just such a lovely lady, and we had so much fun!! I loved working with her and I will remember her and the laughs we had. She loved her family and her grandchildren. She loved it when Sandra came with Sam. I was saddened to see that she had died. I will remember her fondly. Xxx
