My daughter Sophie was one of Elaine's last students. We only learned recently of her passing and are both so sorry to hear she is gone. She changed my daughters life through her music and the gifts she gave her. We will never forget you or the toy concerts at your home Elaine, thank you!
I only learned of Elaine's 9assing by seeing it on this website dear Elaine. It was such a honour to help out at your 80th birthday party at St Peters many years back and a honour to know you a few short years. Will miss coming across you in Mornington Rest in Peace From Wayne Bridgman
We were shocked and saddened to hear that Elaine had passed away. She was a very dear friend. We met at Mornington school in 1938, we were in the same form at Otago Girls' High School, and we were both musically involved at the Dunedin Opera Company. Our friendship lasted for 86 years! My husband Bob joins me in this tribute to Elaine.
Elaine, you travelled the world to visit us and others. Now you have Tim to yourself again until I get there with him. Take care.
