On December 11, 2024, peacefully at the Otago Community Hospice after a short illness; aged 79 years. Loved and adored husband of Beverley, loved Dad of Michelle, and Dave.
Thanks to the staff of the Otago Community Hospice for their care and respect of David.

My sincere Condolences to you Bev and your Family. School friend of my sister Lynda Fletcher ( Pike) we grew up with the Feathers boys and attended Maori Hill School with them. My late husband Ray knew Dave and thought of him as a really good Guy. It's a different road now that we walk and my heart felt sadness for you and your family is very familiar. Love is so precious. We were so sorry to hear that David had died. We have very happy childhood memories of our holidays living next door at Warrington, playing cricket, fishing for flounders in the bay & exploring the rocks & hills. Our thoughts & sympathy are with you Beverley & family
When we first met Dave in the early 60's, we were impressed at what a great guy he was. We learned very quickly never to take a ticket in a raffle that Dave had a ticket in! Believe his favourite number was 14 which he regularly won with! A true gentleman. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family Bev. Ron & Trish. Perth.
Our love and sympathies to you and your family, Bev. We were sad to read of Dave’s death so soon after Alan saw you both in hospital, but know the hospice would have ensured both he and you were well supported to the end. Hopefully you will all share fond memories of Dave, as we do.
We are so sorry to hear of Mr Feathers passing. Our thoughts are with Mrs Feathers, Michelle and Dave. The Millar family have lovely memories when we were neighbours in Chamberlain Street and Mr Feathers always had a smile and a joke to share. He will be missed. Sending all our deepest sympathies.
