My condolences to Storky’s family and my thoughts are with all of his people. It was a privilege to know Storky and to work with him. He was a bloody good bugger and it’s so sad that he is no longer with us.

Craig (Stalky) My deepest condolences to your family. Shocked and saddened to hear of your passing so suddenly. I can still recall you as a fresh faced police officer in Invercargill. You flatted with 2 friends at separate times and so I met you socially before I worked with you. You had humour and a calmness - and an all round beautiful human being. You were a lovely kind inclusive work colleague and a Police social team basketball player. Thank you for sharing your large bags of Cadbury seconds chocolates from your trips home. You were always the gentleman and it was a pleasure bumping into you in Dunedin and Clyde over the years. Rest easy big man.

Bye for now Craig. Will miss your wisdom and guidance. Your quiet humour was always appreciated especially when I was on a rant! We never did win the big one on the Lotto and all effectively resign together on mass. Such a shame as that would have been great to see. Texts from you always ended in "it's Craig BTW". As if I didn't know from the content. Rest easy

Craig (Stalky) - I cannot believe you have left us so soon. My heart goes out to your lovely Family and am sending all my love and hugs. Your sense of humour was second to none and in your quiet way you would have me in stitches of laughter. Working with you was so easy - no dramas - all good stuff. I can just see you standing at your desk all tall and lanky with a smile on your face. Gonna miss ya dude. You will always hold a place in my heart. Bye for now Stalky.

Stalky, our office will never be the same. Your positive, calm, kind nature never went unnoticed. We will miss your cheeky smile when you gave us those quick-witted words that always made us laugh. We will miss our office conversations with you that some conversations were not quite right but hilarious because we misunderstood hearing of some of the words. You were a fab team member!!!!!

Well Stalky what can I say, how little did I know my final words to you were have a good weekend see ya, you were the cheeky quick witted one in our “classroom” convinced you had ADHD and had forgotten to take your medication most days, you had to put up with all us girls and I’m sure it wasn’t easy at times, our chit chat would start off with something so innocent and then somehow escalate into something that should be censored! but you put up with it and sometimes would chime in with that quick wittiness of yours. I thank you for the time we had with you, there was never a dull day, we will try and carry on with our office banter, but it won’t be quite the same without you, you will be truly missed. Our sincere condolences to Craigs family. We didn’t personally know Craig but had heard so many wonderful things about him, as our daughter Maddie worked with him. She spoke of his cheeky nature and how much he took her under his wing and especially made sure she was doing ok when her partner left to work in the mines in Australia. So sad to read of your sad passing and that we will not see your smiling face around Clyde. We all enjoyed the fabulous years we shared as neighbours in Saddle View Place, you were the best babysitter ever.
