Peacefully, surrounded by her children at the Otago Community Hospice on August 25, 2025; aged 88 years.
Much loved wife of the late John, loved Mum of Glenda and Gavin, Lindsay and Bee, Geoff and Delaine, loved and treasured Grandma of Thomas and Lucy, Katelin and Ryan, and Levi; Leon, and Charlie; Madison, and Johnny, loved Great-Grandma of Kaido, and Rocky, and dear friend of Paul.
A celebration of Coral's life will be held in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Scotia Street, Port Chalmers at 2pm on Thursday, August 28, followed by private cremation. Messages can be left below where there is a link to view the service.

My condolences to all the family of Auntie Coral and my late Uncle John. In 2014, Coral was the one who ignited my interest in the family history of my Grandparents and their descendants. There is still a lot to write down from the information she provided. Hello to the Kaan family. I remember Coral when they had the shop in Cockerill St Brockville. Coral was a lovely lady great for a chinwag. She knew it was difficult for us at home she told me to go to her whenever l felt threatened. I did some babysitting for her when there was 2. She would give me lollies a fizzy drink and $20. Which in the day was a lot of money. Rest in peace Coral back with John. Deepest sympathies to you all xxx
Dear Glenda............Never easy saying goodbye to our Mum's - no matter the age. Your constant support to your Mum would have been a great comfort to her, especially in her last few days.
