Connor Brian MacDonald 2005 - 2026 Purvis

So sorry to hear of this tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our thoughts are with you all, along with our deepest sympathies. A great young fella taken far too early. He had well and truly packed in a lot of living in his 20 years.

You will be missed Connor, you were a very kind man and liked by all and I wish the best for your family. Will miss the sound of your bag pipe practice.

While I never got to know Connor all too well, what I did know was that he was a sweet guy, with a light in his eyes and a passion for all manners of physical activity (cycling, climbing, etc). I remember Connor would be playing music in the background whenever I would call his brother, Ronan. My last memory of Connor is bumping into him at bouldering, and thinking that he managed to grow a really awesome handlebar mustache. My thoughts go to the Purvis family. The world will miss Connor's energy and presence.

Thank you guys for letting me be a part of this send off. There is nothing more beautifully tragic than hearing everyone's fondest memories about him in the past tense. It warms my heart to see that he never stopped being the kind, curious and ambitious boy that I grew up knowing. Sending so much love to you guys all the way from Christchurch :) <3

At best I am an acquaintance from brass band to Connor but even in the brief time and interactions we had his happy demeanour and lust for life was infectious. It was a privilege to have met him and played music with him, if only briefly. My condolences to the Purvis family for your immense loss. Connor was one of a kind

I am so sorry Amanda - there are no words that will make anything better. He will be missed but has left a huge impact on everyone who knew him. He will be forever loved.
