Mum ❤️ I’m so thankful that I got 51 years of being loved and cared for by you as my mum. 51 years of memories, laughter, good times, hard times, and so much life shared together. Over the last five years, I’ve been so grateful that I got the opportunity to return some of that love by caring for you. Since coming to know Jesus, one of the greatest desires of my heart has been to see you know Him too….to see you healed, set free, and ultimately know that we would spend eternity together. I’m so thankful for the time we had together in your final days and nights. I got to sit beside you, share the Word of God with you, pray with you, and talk to you about Jesus, the goodness of God, the love of the Father, and the incredible joy that was waiting for you in your heavenly home. It was such a joy to see you recommit your heart to the Lord. To talk with you about the difference between religion and relationship, and to watch you begin to let go of the things you had believed about God that weren’t true and begin to embrace the truth of His goodness and His plans for you. Mum, I love you. And I always will. We didn’t always understand each other, but you were my mum, and I’m so thankful that God gave me the privilege of honouring you right to the very end. I’m sad that you’re gone, but I have a peace that only Jesus can give. I know where you are. I know you’re with your Father now, completely healed and completely free. And I know this isn’t goodbye forever. I’ll see you again soon, Mum ❤️

ROBINS FAMILY

Sending our love and condolences to Mel and Steve and Danny and family. Cathie holds a special and dear place in our hearts. Due to physical distance, we have not seen you in person in recent years but have enjoyed our chats and texts and been inspired by your strength and quiet courage. We have such lovely memories of you, especially from our Dunedin days and will always remember and miss that beautiful smile and twinkle in your eyes. May you now be at peace and reunited with your beloved Bob, happy and pain free. Go well dearest Cathie. Love and sympathy to all.

I miss you, Cathie 😭❤️ I don’t think I will ever have the words to properly describe what it meant to spend your final days with you. To sit beside you with Dan, to love you, to hold your hand and simply be there as your earthly life was coming to an end was such an honour. There is so much we miss about you. But even in the sadness, I feel so incredibly grateful. Grateful that you were able to be at home, just as you wanted. Grateful that we could surround you with love. Grateful for Mel & Steve, who cared for you so faithfully and poured so much love and time into your final days. And I’m especially grateful I got to witness the way Dan loved you in those final days. I had a front row seat as he walked his mum ever so tenderly to the feet of Jesus… loving you, serving you, praying over you and holding you with such tenderness. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed, and I will carry that with me forever. You have a new body. Completely restored. Completely whole. Completely new. You know no more pain, suffering or sadness. You are experiencing joy indescribable, love full and complete, beyond anything we could ever fathom. You are with Jesus. It was an honour to love you. And it was an honour to walk with you as you crossed from this life into eternity. We love you, Cathie. See you in glory ❤️

Mel and Steve, Emma and I are thinking of you today as you say goodbye to beautiful Cathie. I hope you find comfort in the special memories you've made over the years. You certainly made Cathie's last years very special for her, being able to stay home with you both made her very happy. I hope over time your smiles come back as you carry on without her. Condolences and love to you both at this very sad time. With love from Debbie and Emma xx
