On October 16, 2025, unexpectedly at his home; aged 67 years.
Much loved Dad and father-in-law of Lisa and Dan Rouvi-Algra, son of the late Colin and Violet Ford, brother and brother-in-law of John and Pauline, June and Wayne, Murray and Ricki, and Barry and Mele, loved uncle and great-uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
A service for Bruce will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 11am on Thursday, October 23, followed by private cremation. Messages can be left below where a livestream of the service may also be viewed.

WOW... a bolt out of the blue for many of us living in Newhaven St! Legend of the Street Bruce passing like this! We always enjoyed our chats whenever he passed by our place, heading to the dairy for his smokes or milk! Every happy for you to knock on his door asking for some sort of help! He will be missed!
