On December 17, 2025, peacefully while surrounded by his family at Leslie Groves Hospital; aged 81 years.
Dearly loved husband of Dorothy, dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Alister, Paula and Dave Bouman, Nic and Craig Masina, loved granddad of Lee, Kerry, Neil, and Shannon; Caitlin, Jacob*, Emily, and Charlotte; Tama, and Regan, loved great-grandad of all his great-grandchildren (*denotes deceased).
A service for Barry will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 11am, on Monday, December 22, followed by private cremation. Messages to 21 Church Street, Green Island, Dunedin 9018, or to Barry's page below where you can view the livestream.
