Peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2026; in his 83rd year.
Dearly loved husband of Annette, and the late Rosemary, loving father of Carolyn and Stuart Horton, and Mark and Lisa O'Donnell, loved Tony of Leanne and Kelvin Stanton, Bradley and Stacey Hill, Joanne and Murray Bowen, and Nolan and Lee Hill, loved grandad of his 10 grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Trish and Gordon Crossan, and a loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Tony's wishes a private cremation has taken place.

A true gentleman !! I enjoyed our time working together at DHQ in Dunedin. A lovely Christian man, who enjoyed his family and especially his grandchildren !
A gentleman’s gentleman who loved the Lord and cared so much for people. It was a privilege to have him as our Corps Sergeant Major at the Dunedin North Salvation Army and also to have him as a friend especially when he became our son’s father-in-law. Now in the presence of the Lord he loved and served so faithfully. We will miss you Tony, Carol & Roger Horton
