- Passed away peacefully in Dunedin Hospital on Friday, July 24, 2026; aged 81 years. Dearly loved wife of Brian for 62 years. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Rachel, Sarah and Mark (Oliver), and adored Grandma of Caitlin, and Connor. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Frances and Martin, Bruce* and Robin, Kathryn and Neil, Denise and Stuart, daughter of Dorothy* and Don* and much loved by her nieces and nephews (*denotes deceased)
A funeral service for Anne will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 2pm on Thursday July 30. In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS Society in memory of Anne would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Anne was a greatly valued member of the Otago Branch of the New Zealand Federation of University Women where she served on the committee as the Academic Dress Accountant for 12 years, 1995 – 2007. She was meticulous in that role and brought with it her warm smile, coupled with her commonsense approach.
